The city of Denver offers a variety of music festivals throughout the year to enjoy. Whether you’re a fan of jazz, blues or country, there is something to suit your taste. Some of these events are free while others may require tickets. Some of these festivals take place in Denver’s beautiful parks and venues. You can bring a blanket to relax on the grass and enjoy the performances.
The mission of the music festival Denver of Chamber Music is to present the finest chamber music performances for the enjoyment and enrichment of diverse audiences and communities. Co-presented with Newman Center Presents, these concerts take place at the Robert and Judy Newman Center for the Performing Arts in addition to non-traditional settings unique to Denver.
A new addition to the festival is SeriesFest, which showcases a bold selection of episodic storytelling. The goal is to create musically diverse experiences in unconventional venues that challenge and inspire the audience. In 2014, Sphere engaged over 1,050 people through concerts, in-school performances and collaborations.
